If your car seats are covered with dirt, grease, body oil, slime, and you are looking for an easy and low budget technique to clean the seats and make your car seats look as good as new, then look no further, we’ve got you covered. In this article, you will learn to clean seats in half the time required in any other technique and save a lot of money to top that. In order to clean the dirt that is stuck inside the pores of the seats and resort them to their original position, you will need only two things.

A degreaser diluted in 5 to 1 ratio in a spray bottle

Magic eraser.

Magic eraser is basically melamine foam, which is very cheap, and you can also buy it in bulk to save money.

Now here are a few things that you must keep in mind while using the magic eraser.

If you put a ton of force into rubbing the leather seats which are really worn out, have cracks and are not maintained, you can actually further crack it. Too much force can strip away plastic leather protection, leather itself and discolor it. So be careful.

Magic eraser will do the cleaning; you do not have to apply too much pressure. Just rub gently.

Wet the magic eraser with water and squeeze all the water out.

Spray degreaser on the magic eraser

Lightly rub over the surface of the seat.

Don't rub harshly over the same area too much. Rub gently all over the surface.

It will take almost four swipes over the surface and get the surface clean.

You can easily clean the surface from dirt and grease with magic eraser. It will take very little effort and time, like only four swipes.

Rub the areas, which are cracked due to excess use and UV rays, do not overdo it. Keep in mind that the leather will start to flake off if you over do it.
