How To Clean Car’s Carpet Yourself


A car's carpet can get really stained with dust or mud. And if you have kids well, there can be a whole lot of mess from dirt to oil stains from dropping the food in the car such as ice cream or ketchup. Now you can't stop kids from creating mess because it's their age to grow and learn but you can't let your car look like a disaster. What you will need is: A vacuum Stain remover or magic cleaner A turk towel Spray bottle Carpet shampoo A scrubbing brush Extractor soap Process Now here are a few simple steps that you need to follow to get your desired results. First vacuum the carpet to get rid to any lose dirt and debris. After that, you will have to access the situation, if there are bad hard stains on the carpet then use a stain remover or magic cleaner. In case of magic cleaner, dilute it to about 3 to 1 ratio. Spry stain remover or magic cleaner on the stained area and rub it with carpet brush to get rid of the stain then clean it with a turk towel. Next, move onto the high traffic areas, where the feet are most or the corners that the carpet do not cover. Wet the high traffic areas of carpet with water using a spray bottle. Spray the water evenly across the carpet. Then dispense an ounce of carpet cleaner or magic cleaner, diluted up to 5 to 1 ratio, on the carpet and begin scrubbing. As you keep scrubbing all the suds will start to lift off, do not let them sit on the surface more than 30 seconds and wipe them away with a turk towel. Once done if the area needs another scrubbing then repeat the process. The heavy stains are removed and high traffic areas are cleaned now we will clean the rest of the carpet. Now spray the whole carpet with water using a spray bottle. Then spray the extractor soap overall the carpet. Scrub the whole carpet and clean it with the turk towel. It is as simple and easy as that. A little bit of time and effort can make the old stained carpet look new and neat again. If the vehicle's carpets are in really bad condition or you want to take it one-step further, you can use liquid aerosol or liquid carpet dye to rejuvenate carpet's real color.
